Magic Studio, the AI pro behind Canvas and Photo Booth, has now created Magic Eraser. Magic Eraser allows you to erase all of the unwanted things from your images, nice and quick. I’m constantly having to remove something from a thumbnail image and create content quickly - Instead of wasting my time, with my face right up against my laptop screen, making sure nothing has been missed. I can now remove unwanted guests in a matter of seconds, so I’m always left with the perfect shot!

If you have a long list of images you need to edit, you may want to look into the Magic Eraser Pro membership. It’ll set you back $3.99/month, but it does mean you’ll be able to edit images in bulk, download at high resolution, and edit an unlimited amount of images until your heart’s content.

I’ve been looking for a platform like Magic Eraser for a while. Removing an object from an image can be such a time-consuming task, especially if you’re working with the wrong kit. You don’t have to be an Adobe expert (I’m definitely not!) to create something beautiful, with Magic Eraser’s help, it now only takes me a few seconds.

If you’re looking for something that has a wider range of features and offerings, try out PixTeller - for all you movie makers out there! But if you want to erase an object from an image Magic Eraser is the one for you.

Compared Alternatives

Cutout.pro - has several background removal options for you to pick from, something that Magic Eraser doesn’t offer. So Cutout.pro is perfect if you need an extra pair of hands when it comes to the removal of something.
PixTeller - If you’re a content creator, PixTeller lets you remove objects from an image. As well as removing objects, you can also create animations, if you’re a content creator this is the one for you.

Erase as you go! If you want to remove a number of objects from a background, focus on one object at a time. Click the ‘Erase’ button and see how it updates the image, potentially altering the overall look and feel of your shot.
If you’re tech-savvy (or just know how to use ChatGPT), Magic Eraser has an API you can use to remove objects and backgrounds at scale. Here’s the tip, though: you get 100 credits (IE 100 removals) for free without having to sign up to the paid plan if you use the API.
