Cutout.pro’s AI image editing platform lets you edit your images in a variety of ways without needing any design skills. Thanks to the AI, you can remove image backgrounds, upscale small or low-quality images or even turn paper and pencil sketches into full CGI-style images.

Our Verdict on Cutout Pro

Cutout.pro is a versatile platform, with a cheap pricing model and generous free tier. For this type of use-case (quick image editing), it’s hard to imagine wanting a better combination. There are easier-to-use alternatives, and more complex but more powerful alternatives, but when you just need to get a quick image edit done, I haven’t found a better alternative.

Compared Alternatives

MagicErase - This tool is much simpler to use, but I found the results weren’t as good as Cutout.pro and if you want a high-quality download, it’ll cost more too
Adobe Photoshop - You’ll need to know what you’re doing to use this best-in-class tool, but with their new AI tools baked into photoshop, Adobe’s software is becoming easier than ever to learn
SceneryAI - If you want to get a little more creative with tweaking an image’s background, SceneryAI’s Stable Diffusion-powered platform has got you covered. It’s still in beta, so I’m not confident that all of the kinks are ironed out, but you do get to try it out for free so the trade-off is worth it
